Release Date: January 23, 2014

Next to Forever is the final book in the Never Letting Go series.
The past will always come back to haunt you and hidden truths are uncovered, as darkness looms over the lives of Erin and Connor on their journey to forever. Filled with love and happiness, as well as a baby and a wedding on the way, Erin and Connor seem to have it all -until life throws them a twist. As tragedy strikes, Erin and Connor have to make one of the toughest decisions in their lives. Will they have their happily ever after or will they have to say goodbye forever?

Out of nowhere, Sophia drops her fries and her mouth hangs open. “Soph?” Her eyes grow wide, and I wonder what she’s looking at. Vander and I turn around, and suddenly I feel my world rock. How can Connor do this to me? The tears threaten my eyes, and my heart beats a million beats a second. Vander holds my shoulders, but I push him away and get up from the table. Marching over to my idiot fiancĂ© and his whore, my fists are clench at my side, and I’m ready to raise hell. “Connor! What the fuck?”
His eyes open and he lets go of Olivia. She turns around and smiles at me. Why is this bitch smiling at me? This isn’t a fucking social call. “Erin, it’s so good to see you.”
Everything in me screams to punch this bitch in the face and break that ugly fake nose. “Bitch, get your STD infested hands off my fiancĂ© and back the fuck up.” I push her away and get in Connor’s face. “How could you?” He’s speechless and doesn’t answer me. “Oh, no, you asshole! Tell me now! Why are you with Olivia?”

Walker by Michelle Flick

Kate isn’t thrilled to be moving to the middle of nowhere. She's already lost her parents, now she's leaving the only place she's ever known as home. She’s not there long when she realizes her dreams aren’t her own and that she has the ability to walk through other people's dreams. Not only that, but she might have found her dream guy--literally. He's in her dreams.

Just when she starts to get the hang of dream walking, strange murders in her new town start to occur. Girls are being killed as they sleep with no evidence, no suspects and no clear motive behind the deaths. It doesn’t take Kate very long to realize that the girls aren’t just being killed as they sleep—they’re being killed in their sleep.

Kate must figure out how to find the killer in the real world and keep the ones she loves safe while they sleep.

Review-

5 out of 5 Stars

I absolutely, positively, LOVED this book! What an interesting story line. It literally had me hooked from beginning to end. Where do I even begin?

First off, Fergie is quite possibly my favorite dog EVER. When I discovered that she was real I was legitimately excited, Silly I know, but totally true. Her role in the book is as pivotal as any of the other characters. She's like a human trapped in a dogs body and to find out that she was actually real was pretty freaking awesome.

This book took me back to being a kid. I used to watch the sci-fi (Now "syfy") channel all the time. I was obsessed with anything paranormal. As a paranormal fan, there are some stories where you just think "Yeah right, that will never happen" but there are others where it sucks you in and you are convinced that it's real. Walker is the latter.  It's the type of book that has the right amount of everything. Romance, mystery, supernatural, humor, and confrontation between characters. It's all wrapped up into once spectacular book.

I don't think I've ever hoped for a character to fall asleep as much as I hoped for Kate to. Don't get me wrong, the story line when she was awake was great and kept me guessing but I was on pins and needles wondering what would happen next between Kate and Nick.

I loved that Kate always stood up for herself when it came to Jcru. With a lot of books I have read, main characters aren't typically as upfront as she is and I really admire that about her.

My only complaint for this book is- I WANT MORE! I'm really hoping for this to be a series. I'm curious to know how the story pans out for some of the other characters, Kate and Nick included.

Great job Michelle Flick! It was such a wonderful book!

Review- Remembering Us by Stacey Lynn

*This book is for those who are 18+

(4.5 out of 5 Stars)

The story about a forgotten love and one woman's journey to remember it again. It's a heartfelt story and an emotional roller coaster. One minute you may be on the verge of throwing something (I was anyways) and just a page or so later you're laughing or smiling along with some of the characters. Stacey-Lynn did a wonderful job depicting each of them, their flaws and all.
The story follows Amy who suffers serious injuries and wakes up not remembering the last 2 years of her life. She wakes to a strange man sitting next to her bed only to find out, to her surprise, that he's her boyfriend of two years. Their entire relationship was wiped clean from her memory from the accident and now she has to work on remembering while trying to figure out who she has become.
If you think not much can happen in the span of 2 years then you are mistaken.
Amy was raised in a upper-class household with two extremely judgmental parents, more so her mother, who try to dictate every aspect of her life. She breaks free from that and builds the life she never knew she could have but always dreamed of thanks to Adam.
When she wakes from her coma and gets thrown back into the mix of things she finds that she has no idea who the girl is that she became. She attempts to live the life she had before she met Adam but it just doesn't feel right to her. None of it does.
There's a war raging in her head about whether she can trust Adam or not. She feels as though she lives with a stranger and, in a way, that's true considering she has almost no memory of him. He has demons of his own and Amy senses them but isn't sure if they're a danger to her or not. They try to work together to overcome them but the question is will it help her remember? Also, if she does remember, will it make her feel safe with Adam or just more scared?
The chemistry between the two is undeniable. Amy belongs to Adam, body and soul, however, her mind has to catch up.
The story has a few twists and turns one of which I didn't see coming and it had me in tears reliving it through Amy's memory.
When I first started this read, the story-line reminded me of the movie The Vow. However, it was just that, a minute similarity. Stacey Lynn writes such a beautifully tragic, yet triumphant story. I couldn't read the pages fast enough. She makes it her own and I loved every minute of it! I can't wait to see what other stories she brings to life. I am definitely a fan!

January's Book of the Month!

I'm very excited to start doing a book of the month! I will post a book at the beginning of each month to read and at the end of the month, if you want to discuss it, I will host a book discussion on Facebook. Some books may be ones I have read and really liked, while others will be as new to me as they are to you.
So, let's get this started! The first book I chose is one I've been dying to read and I'm excited that I finally will be able to! Here it is...

Synopsis-

"What if you could live again and again, until you got it right?

On a cold and snowy night in 1910, Ursula Todd is born to an English banker and his wife. She dies before she can draw her first breath. On that same cold and snowy night, Ursula Todd is born, lets out a lusty wail, and embarks upon a life that will be, to say the least, unusual. For as she grows, she also dies, repeatedly, in a variety of ways, while the young century marches on towards its second cataclysmic world war.

Does Ursula's apparently infinite number of lives give her the power to save the world from its inevitable destiny? And if she can -- will she?

Darkly comic, startlingly poignant, and utterly original -- this is Kate Atkinson at her absolute best."

Sounds pretty awesome right?? I'll post more about "The Book of the Month" in the coming days/weeks.
