I don’t know if I am begging him to let me go or kiss me. My breath hasn’t slowed yet and his is increasing. Seconds feel like minutes and he removes one of his hands from my wrist but his outer is large enough to hold both. For a quick second, I think he is going to slap me but moves his hand up my cheekbone and gently tucks my hair behind my ear. I swear I can feel his pulse as his lips to mine causing fires to erupt in my belly. I swear this is the feeling I have been waiting for and I have longed for since Saturday night. If only I could feel this ever day. I don’t let myself think about why I am kissing him or what he will say after.

All I focus on is the way he let go of my wrist and pressed his body against mind. The way my tongue somehow follows his and my hands wrap themselves around his next as my legs wrap around his waist. I bury my fingers into his gently tugging at it as he moans.

Review by Allison

Tatted Love was a quick read for me. I love reading stories that are in a college setting. Lexi is a smart, girl who gets good grades, has a boyfriend that is nice and a life to be happy about. She sets off to college and meets her roommate who seems to be the polar opposite of Lexi. Oh, and then she meets Derek. He is the tatted up rude boy who knows how push her buttons. She thought she had her life pretty much figured out but meeting Derek and experiencing College life with her roommate has given her a different look on what she wants.
Overall I did enjoy this book. I didn't realize this was part of a series so I wasn't prepared for some questions to go unanswered. My one wish is that it was a bit longer, but again, I think that's because I wanted to know some certain things.
I give Tatted Love a rating of 3.5

Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway - Over Exposed by Julie Jaret

Synopsis
She’s all work.

Fifteen years ago, Natalie Simmons reinvented herself with a single goal: to earn her father’s respect. The frivolous, attention-seeking college girl is now a workaholic lawyer on partnership track.

That is, until Sam Danmore shows up.

He’s all play.

He’s gorgeous, famous, arrogant as ever, and can still drench her panties with a look and a grin -- a fact which only reinforces how much she hates him. And wants him.

When an obsessed fan forces Sam into hiding, Natalie has to help him or risk getting caught up in the media frenzy, herself. But her unwanted, yet deepening attraction to him threatens the new life she has built... because Sam has spent the last fifteen years living up to his reputation, and Natalie is still trying to live hers down.

Natalie's tires squealed as she sped up and down the levels, finding every last parking space was filled. She tried to call her assistant, but should’ve known better than to hope for cell reception in the garage. As she reversed the car in an anger-fueled three-point turn, she heard a thump. Shit. Checking the rearview mirror, she saw nothing -- no cars, no cement columns. Whatever. She hoped Kari was able to stall the parties on the video conference...

Suddenly, the door behind her flung open and someone jumped in, rocking the car. “Drive,” a deep voice ordered.

“Oh my god. Just take the car.” She reached for the door handle, thankful she could run straight to her office, now, and maybe make it in time for the--

“I don’t want the car. I want you to drive, lady!”

“I’m late for a conference call!” Before she could push the door open, something hard pressed against the back of her head. She stiffened and slanted a glance toward the rearview mirror, but couldn’t see him since he was directly behind her.

“You’re gonna have to reschedule. Drive the fucking car.”

“Okay. Okay. Where do you want to go?” Her voice shook with panic. Dad’s gonna give me that disappointed look. Can’t believe this shit. What are the frigging odds?

“Just get me out of here.”

Natalie drove around and around the garage toward the exit, trying now and then to see him in her mirrors. As they stopped for the automatic gate to lift she made a move to open the door, but he tapped her skull with what she presumed was a gun barrel. A reminder, like she could ever forget it was there.

“Don’t make me use this.”

“I’m sorry.” Her voice shook a little. She hated that. “Which way should I go?”

“Take me to your house.”

“I don’t have a house.”

He made an exasperated sound. “I assume you’re not homeless. Take me wherever the hell it is you live.”

She drove a circuitous route through the slow-moving maze of Midtown, inching the car down the one-way streets and multiple Peachtrees that confounded even native Atlantans. For fuck’s sake, there’s never a police car when you need one...

Her phone rang, startling her.

Her passenger barked “Don’t answer it!” a half-second too late.

“Sorry! It’s a reflex.” She cringed, half-expecting to be pistol-whipped.

Then Kari’s voice came over the car speakers. “Jesus Christ, Nat!”

“Yeah, I’m having a really hard time parking--”

“Forget it, we cancelled. Are you listening to the radio?”

“Uh, no...”

“All the traffic? It’s not an accident.” If she hadn’t been in a life-or-death situation, Natalie would’ve noticed her assistant’s oddly-excited tone. “They started shooting the movie, and Sam Danmore disappeared! He’s like a fugitive or something.”

“Hang up,” Natalie’s passenger growled low from the back seat.

It dawned on her now that his voice seemed familiar. She risked a glance over her shoulder and holy shit. Holy. Shit. Holy fucking shit. “Holy fucking shit.”

A world-famous pair of sexy brown eyes glared, and she turned back around just in time to avoid rear-ending a city bus.

“I know, right?” Kari’s voice gushed. “They said he raped a teenage girl in his trailer and ran off when she screamed.”

“My god...” Natalie jerked the car to a rocking stop in a loading zone, narrowly missing a few pedestrians.

“Again. Can you believe that?”

“Kari, I’ve gotta call you back.” She disconnected and sat silently a moment, staring straight ahead. Her heart was pounding harder than it did when her passenger first jumped in the car. Without turning, she spoke in her coldest and most professional voice (which barely shook at all). “Is it safe to assume you have not been holding a real gun to my head?”

She heard him sigh heavily. In her peripheral vision, she saw him hold up a strong, tan hand and fold it into a finger-gun.

“That’s a safe assumption, yes. And for the record, I didn’t do it.”

Of course you didn’t. Now try to sell me Braves Stadium. “In that case, would you care to explain why you’re-- uh, naked, and in my car?” Her damn voice betrayed her that time.

“Let’s talk about that when we get to your place.” The words were steeped in his trademark sinful smile. The narcissistic ass was trying to manipulate her.

She wasn’t going to let him. “Never mind. Please just get out.”

The leather seat creaked as he leaned forward and his deep chuckle tickled her ear. “Did you forget I’m naked?”

She stiffened. “No. I didn’t.”

It was a universally-accepted fact that Sam Danmore had a gorgeous body. Natalie had once heard a talk show host joke that his standard movie contract contained a wardrobe clause specifying his refusal to wear shirts in more than three scenes.

He didn’t budge. His hair brushed her cheek. It was soft and smelled like fresh shampoo.

Keep facing forward. Don’t move. Don’t talk.

And for fuck’s sake, don’t look!

There were plenty of people Natalie disliked. Sam Danmore was the only one she could honestly say she hated.

Yeah, silly girl? Then why has your mouth gone dry?

To her relief he finally backed off, taking his scent with him. “Sorry, sweetheart, I’m not gonna walk around downtown Atlanta in the buff.”

The BMW’s windows were tinted for privacy, so while many people rushed past them along the busy sidewalk, no one had given her car a second glance.

“Well, I’m certainly not taking you to my home!” Ugh. Could she sound more prim?

He was quiet for a moment and she felt him studying her. “In that case, I’m gonna open the door here, and get all these nice people riled up until the news crews come and we’re all over the internet. You seem like someone who’d be okay with that.”

She reached for her phone. “I’m calling the police.”

The smug bastard laughed at her. “Oh, so you want more media attention? I must’ve misread you.”

Fuck!

He was still laughing as Natalie threw the car in gear and floored the gas to force her way back into traffic.

Allison's Review

4.5 star rating

Julie Jaret has done it again!  I think I even love this more than I did Extreme Close - Up.  I actually came into this book thinking it was a follow up to Extreme Close up and was a little saddened when I found it was about Lisa’s friend Natalie. But that sadness was quickly replaced with over joy the moment Sam Danmore jumped into Natalie’s back seat!  It was such a quick, sexy read that I finished it in one sitting. I loved the unique storyline, and enjoyed the sizzling chemistry between Sam and Natalie.  I could feel the tension radiate through my kindle as I swiped from page to page. What a great couple and a great read!   I really hope that Julie will continue with this series! The stories are getting better and better!

Review, Blog Tour & Giveaway- Shameless by Nina Lemay

Shameless by Nina Lemay
NA Contemporary Romance
Release Date - Aug. 18th

Girls like me don’t get happy endings.

I know what I am. At worst a cliché, at best a cautionary tale. I put an international border between me and my past, only to wind up working in a low-end titty bar. Even my excuse is as lame as it gets: I’m paying for college, getting my art degree from Montreal’s most prestigious school. Although some days it becomes confusing: am I just a student who moonlights as a stripper, or a stripper who masquerades as a student?

But the inevitable happens and my two lives collide. And now there’s one other person who knows both the quiet, antisocial Hannah and the sensual, shameless Alicia. One person who keeps my secret.

He’s beautiful, he’s sophisticated. He comes from the other side of life, the one where I’m not wanted or accepted. But he calls me la petite Américaine, and his hot, hot hands on my skin promise me things I long ago gave up on.

The problem? He teaches my Classic Photography class.

This is a standalone novel, no series, no cliffhanger.

Nina Lemay is a YA writer by day and author of sinfully twisted New Adult…well, also by day. She loves all things dark and edgy and never tires of tormenting her characters. While Nina is a fan of all things scary,

lives in Montreal, a city that never fails to inspire, with her partner and her dog.

4 Shameless Stars

Nina Lemay has done a wonderful job on this novel. I was intrigued by the synopsis right away. If you know me, then you know I'm a sucker for the forbidden romance with a great steam factor. Now let me tell you, this book had met all the criteria!
Hannah is as you know, a stripper. But that's not who she really is. She is Hannah by day, a smart, quiet college going girl. By night she is Alicia, the shameless stripper who doesn't take crap from anyone. She brought herself to Montreal on her own running from her past, and trying to make a better future for herself. We see the real deal with being a stripper, through her eyes. There is no sugar coating it to make it seem like it is a glamorous job. Hannah is one of the most REAL characters that I have read in a long time. She has flaws, but that's what makes her so real. She is easy to relate to (although I was never nor do I plan to be a stripper) I feel like I would make some of the same choices she did (minus a couple....ugh I'll get to that in a few).
We are soon introduced to Emmanuel. He comes into her strip and is very uncomfortable with the whole situation, but "Alicia" soon relaxes him. The uncomfortable feelings come back when Hannah walks into her Art class and Emmanuel is staring back at her as a professor, not a client in the club.
I enjoyed the student/teacher forbidden aspect of this book. It wasn't overpowering but you still got the butterflies and anxiety about if they would be caught. The overall storyline is about stereotyping people by their looks and not by who they really are. Hannah feels Emmanuel judging her for her job choice throughout the book. Everyone does. She is at sometimes ashamed of what she does. That's why she has the two separate identities. I enjoyed the fact that Emmanuel was the one who was more open with his feelings and that he had to show Hannah that she really was a good person. At times I could see Emmanuel having a battle with himself for his feelings of Hannah the stripper, and we later learn why.
Throughout the book you will have angst, sadness, hatred, and love. you go through a whirlwind of emotions by the time you finish the book.
There is one particular scene where I had to re-read it to make sure I was actually reading it correctly. This scene (you will know when you get there) left a bitter taste in my mouth and I HATED it, so I applaud Nina for making me as a reader feel this way.
I enjoyed watching Hannah become comfortable within her own skin and I enjoyed the journey she had to get there.
I look forward to more Nina Lemay books!

Best Selling Author Kindle Alexander is an innovative writer, and a genre-crosser who writes classic fantasy, romance, suspense, and erotica in both the male/male and male/female genres. It's always a surprise to see what's coming next!

I live in the suburbs of Dallas where it's true, the only thing bigger than an over active imagination, may be women's hair!

Usually, I try for funny. Humor is a major part of my life - I love to laugh, and it seems to be the thing I do in most situations - regardless of the situation, but jokes are a tricky deal... I don't want to offend anyone and jokes tend to offend. So instead I'm going to tell you about Kindle.

I tragically lost my sixteen year old daughter to a drunk driver. She had just been at home, it was early in the night and I heard the accident happen. I'll never forget that moment. The sirens were immediate and something inside me just knew. I left my house, drove straight to the accident on nothing more than instinct. I got to be there when my little girl died - weirdly, I consider that a true gift from above. She didn't have to be alone.

That time in my life was terrible. It's everything you think it would be times about a billion. I love that kid. I loved being her mother and I loved watching her grow into this incredibly beautiful person, both inside and out. She was such a gift to me. To have it all ripped away so suddenly broke me.

Her name was Kindle. Honest to goodness - it was her name and she died a few weeks before Amazon released their brand new Kindle ereader. She had no idea it was coming out and she would have finally gotten her name on something! Try finding a ruler with the name Kindle on it.. It never happened.

Through the course of that crippling event I was lucky enough to begin to write with a dear friend in the fan fiction world of Facebook. She got me through those dark days with her unwavering support and friendship. There wasn't a time she wasn't there for me. Sometimes together and sometimes by myself, we built a world where Kindle lives and stands for peace, love and harmony. It's its own kind of support group. I know without question I wouldn't be here today without her.

4 Stars

Full Disclosure is one of the few M/M books that I have read, and I loved it. Kindle Alexander has a way of making her men strong, sexy, masculine yet still compassionate and caring. The book is filled with action, and suspense and still has a romantic element to it. Mitch is working a case that hits home for him when he happens to spot a quiet, handsome man alone in a bar. Mitch knows the minute he sees Cody that he has to find out more about him. Mitch isn't afraid to show his PDA while Cody is still not as comfortable being out in the open with being a homosexual. As the men start getting to know each other the reader gets to see how Mitch ans Cody's relationship takes on different levels and how they both change for each other.  I was pleased that the two men already knew they were homosexual and we didn't have to sit and wait for one to come out into the open with it. The books pace was perfect. We had some very hot and intense moments between the lovers but not overpowering where the book's storyline was taken away. Kindle held my attention until the last page as I waited to find out who was behind Mitch's case. I was happy to of course see cameos from the characters in Double Full. I very much look forward to the next book in this standalone series, and can't wait to find out where the epilogue is going to take us!!!
