REVIEW- The Breed: Casstiels Vow

*Warning: This book contains strong sexual content and graphic violence,
it is not suitable for persons under the age of 18.

5 out of 5 SIZZLING HOT STARS!!!!

I can honestly say this was my favorite Paranormal Romance since The Black Dagger Brotherhood. I'm looking forward to diving into the other books of this series!

I'll give you the synopsis then elaborate more on what I thought-

Synopsis-

After the brutal kidnapping of her brother, Tessa Roberts, a human born with the ability to read other human minds, plunges herself into the dark and mysterious world of the Breed, hell bent on finding him. What she encounters however, is far more than she bargained for. Vampires and werewolves are one race known as the Breed, and are locked in a centuries old war against vicious human Hunters. With the help of Casstiel, the fierce leader of the Breed's defense team who carries a fiery passion for her, can she find her brother before the war erupts on their doorstep? Or will lies and betrayals end the new life she's forged for herself, along with the lives of everyone she loves?

Sounds amazing right?! Well it was!
I found myself so immersed in this story that it was hard to put it down to do necessary things like eating... or sleeping. Falling in love with the characters was easy, it was leaving them that I'm having a hard time with.

"She didn't have to say that she was sad, or that despite having a loving family she had been lonely for years; he didn't need to hear her say that her heart was fragile and her hope all but nonexistent, he could read it all there in her eyes."

*Swoon* A perceptive guy is majorly swoon worthy in my opinion, although other factors may go into his perceptiveness, I guess you will just have to read the book to find out for yourself ;-)

"Strong and slow and sensual, his kiss made her lips tingle and her body tremble. She felt like there was a message behind it, but she just couldn't understand what it was. She had thought he just wanted to have a one night stand with her, but everything he was doing said something different."

Let's not forget about the other swoon worthy aspects, this book is filled with hot scenes that you will devour.

I have been in one hell of a reading funk lately and I was hesitant to dive back into book blogging because of it but I'm glad I started this one, I can say with absolute certainty that this cured my book funk.

Overall, I loved it (if you couldn't tell by now), I would highly recommend this book! I plan on reading the next in the series and I will post my review here as soon as I do. Below are the links where you can find the book and author.
