(5 out of 5 Stars)
This is one of the books I have been dying to read and let me tell you, it lived up to every expectation I had!
I absolutely love the female leads that Savannah writes. Poppy is... Hmm... I want to say "softer" than Arianna and Jade. I felt so anyways. I don't mean this in a bad way AT ALL. I loved Poppy she had the right amount of sweet and sass. There were parts in the book when I thought she'd bite her tongue but she ended up doing the exact opposite and it made me love her even more. She had her not so great qualities. i.e.- running away a lot. But, that just made me that much more captivated by her story and waiting to see what would happen next.
Nate... Oh my goodness NATE! He's totally one of my favorite characters from this series. There were times in the book when I wanted to reach into my Kindle and shake the hell out of him but I settled on shaking my Kindle instead or voicing my very loud opinions to the screen. Either way, he's a book boyfriend that you won't forget.
I have read the prior two books in this series (Arianna and Jade). I couldn't compare them side by side and say which is my favorite, they all have ups and downs. In poppy you relive a few curveballs and they were still a very sore subject for me. My heart was absolutely breaking all over again.
I would most definitely read this ENTIRE series again. It's one of my favorites and I'm so excited to read more from Savannah!
I would recommend reading the books prior to Poppy in the series that way you get to know the characters from the beginning and live through the experiences with them. It's such an amazing series and I would hate for anyone to miss out on these books.
