Forever Kinda Love
by Clara Stone
Genre - Mature YA Contemporary Romance

Life’s. Little. Surprises.

The last thing seven-year-old Carrigan "Ace" Casper foresaw was an eight-year-old

Heath Lovelly walking into her life the day her mother died. From that moment on,

Heath sticks by her side, slowly becoming her strength, her confidant, and her entire

world. What she doesn’t know is, she's his saving grace, too.

Ten years later, Ace is handed another crippling challenge that threatens everything

in her almost perfect life. Only, this time, she doesn't turn to Heath, hiding the truth

instead. But Heath knows Ace too well and won't back down easily. He's ready to

do whatever it takes and will stay by her side until she accepts that their love is the

kinda love worth fighting for.

Will he be her forever triumph or her unexpected downfall?

Two lives.

One story.

And an unexpected journey to falling in love.

Rating: 4.5****
Genre: Mature YA Contemporary Romance

Forever Kinda Love is a friends to lovers book, and boy do I love these type of storylines!
Ace (real name Carrigan) and Heath have been best friends for the last ten years. Horrible situations bring them together and they have an instant bond that no one really gets except them. They are inseparable and have each others back, no matter what. I love that about them. They really and truly are best friends. They tell each other their deepest secrets when one else gets to learn them. Heath is an all around great guy.  Star player on the lacrosse team, check. Nice one the eyes, check. Smart, check. Wealthy, check.  So when he starts to show interest in his long time friend, Ace doesn’t think she is good enough. She starts to have feelings that she has never felt before and she is scared that it will ruin their friendship. That’s when Ace meets Vincent, the ‘bad-boy’ brother to a classmate, Rock. I actually really liked Vincent and I hope we get to see more of him and learn more about him later on. I know this is a ‘Lovelly’ Series but I would love a ‘Gallo’ series too! (Hint Hint Clara!! )
I was very pleased how their friendship blossomed into something more. It wasn’t an instant thing, but I could feel it become more for the characters and I anticipated when they would finally realize how perfect their lives would be if they stopped looking around them & saw what was in front of them. I feel like the end was a little rushed. The epilogue came out of no where, but I understand that the twist in the end was not a main plot, but I would have loved to hear more.
I liked all the other characters, even Lisa. Emily is a great friend for Ace. The Gallo men have their own background that I hope we will eventually see. The Lovelly family is amazing and I adored Blake and Hudson. I look forward to maybe seeing Harrington’s story as well. (Obviously I plan on reading many more books from Clara!!)

Great Job Clara Stone!!
