Excerpt 1:
Tears of joy stung my eyes. This was easily one of the best things that had ever happened to me. I was snapping photos like a madman as the Jimmy Meddler walked down the carpeted aisle towards the wrestling ring where we were all standing. I couldn’t breathe properly, and I was seriously making myself look like a punk. Luckily for me, everyone had the same awed expressions as I did; my dad was actually covering his mouth and jumping up and down.
We were in the famous recording studios where my childhood heroes smacked the shit out of each other for our entertainment. I was literally standing in the ring where my heroes had stood, watching as the most incredible wrestler in the world walked towards me. His jet-black hair was covered by a red bandana the same as usual, and a black vest with ‘The Meddler’ was covering his muscled chest. My mouth dropped open in awe as he climbed into the ring, standing there at a mammoth six-feet-eight. At age fifty-nine, he still took my breath away.
When he made a growling sound and tore his shirt in half, throwing it at my feet, I just about lost it. Now it was my turn to scream like a pre-pubescent girl who had just been hugged by Harry Styles. Ashton clapped me on the back, grinning like an idiot. We’d spent many an hour when we were young and stupid trying to re-enact some of this guy’s moves. He probably loved him just as much as I did.

Excerpt 2:
I shrugged. I never knew my dad wanted a tattoo at all; I had no clue what he was going to come out with. “No idea.”
It took just under half an hour; obviously, they were fast workers. The curtain pulled back, and both George and my dad limped out, laughing and grinning to themselves. I sighed and raised one eyebrow expectantly. My dad grinned and turned his back on me, pulling down his Iron Man shiny red pants to show me a bandage on his butt cheek. Oh, God, do I even want to see this? Please, please, do not let my mom blame me for this! He pulled the bandage down and as soon as I saw the two little words, I burst out laughing.

‘Dawn’s Bitch’

Yep, my dad had seriously had that tattooed on his ass. He was a dead man walking.

“Did you miss me, Arianna?”

I can’t talk so I nod against his neck. One hand glides down my leg and into the hem of my shorts. His finger grazes the edge of the silk of my underwear. He moves the silk to the side and rubs his fingers between my swollen lips. He teases me with his touch until I moan.

“Say it. Say you missed me and I’ll take care of you.”
Smug bastard.

Shaking my head, not giving him the satisfaction. He removes his fingers but uses his whole hand to cup my sex and squeezes. I cry out and then bury my mouth on his shoulder trying to smother the sounds I can’t stop from making. My body begs for the pleasure but my mind won’t give in.

“I feel you trembling. I know exactly what you need. All you have to do is say three little words. ‘I missed you’.”
I try to wiggle away, but his body and one arm has me pinned against the wall. I swivel my hips against his hand trying to get enough contact to relieve myself, but he twists his wrist and squeezes again. The need for release seeps all the way down to my toes. Then I think of something that may get to him.

“Reed?” I whisper.

“Hmmm?”
“If you don’t want to take care of me, I’ve got a very talented BOB in my room that’ll do it. The thought of it actually excites me.”
His body stiffens and his eyes meet mine shining with desire.

“Not fucking happening.”

Review By Allison
Rating: 4.5****
Genre: Mature YA Contemporary Romance

Forever Kinda Love is a friends to lovers book, and boy do I love these type of storylines!
Ace (real name Carrigan) and Heath have been best friends for the last ten years. Horrible situations bring them together and they have an instant bond that no one really gets except them. They are inseparable and have each others back, no matter what. I love that about them. They really and truly are best friends. They tell each other their deepest secrets when one else gets to learn them. Heath is an all around great guy.  Star player on the lacrosse team, check. Nice one the eyes, check. Smart, check. Wealthy, check.  So when he starts to show interest in his long time friend, Ace doesn’t think she is good enough. She starts to have feelings that she has never felt before and she is scared that it will ruin their friendship. That’s when Ace meets Vincent, the ‘bad-boy’ brother to a classmate, Rock. I actually really liked Vincent and I hope we get to see more of him and learn more about him later on. I know this is a ‘Lovelly’ Series but I would love a ‘Gallo’ series too! (Hint Hint Clara!! )
I was very pleased how their friendship blossomed into something more. It wasn’t an instant thing, but I could feel it become more for the characters and I anticipated when they would finally realize how perfect their lives would be if they stopped looking around them & saw what was in front of them. I feel like the end was a little rushed. The epilogue came out of no where, but I understand that the twist in the end was not a main plot, but I would have loved to hear more.
I liked all the other characters, even Lisa. Emily is a great friend for Ace. The Gallo men have their own background that I hope we will eventually see. The Lovelly family is amazing and I adored Blake and Hudson. I look forward to maybe seeing Harrington’s story as well. (Obviously I plan on reading many more books from Clara!!)

Great Job Clara Stone!!

Excerpt 1:
Arielle, reaches over to me and gently massages my ear as she searches my face- for what, I’m not certain. Then, she leans into me and kisses me delicately.

I love all of her kisses; they all speak different words and sometimes even different languages, but I understand each and every one.
We hold hands as we get up from the table and walk into the grass, which is cool and soft.
We sit next to one another, she lays her head on my shoulder, and we look out onto the moon reflecting off the water. I hear Arielle taking in controlled and deliberate breaths as if she’s gearing up to say something. I wait patiently for her to say what she needs to say.

Upon completion of a few more deep breathing exercises, she keeps her head on my shoulder, looking out onto the water, and says hesitantly, “Show me the way.”
Not sure that I heard her correctly, I ask to clarify. “What?”
She keeps staring at the water, but grips my hand tighter. “Show me the way. I trust you to light the way, so lead the way, and I am right there behind you.” She lifts her head, searching my face in the darkness.

“I'd rather you be beside me,” I say as I take in her soft and lovely features.
Her eyes show a degree of uncertainty.

I smile in response and brush her wavy hair behind her ear. “I will hold your hand the entire way.”

Arielle’s face is illuminated by the moonlight, and I can see signs of both worry and hope in it. Her expression is earnest as she asks, “Promise?”
“Scout’s honor.”

I kiss her knuckles one by one as she nestles her head and body deeper into my shoulder.

I am both thrilled and fearful of her trusting me so unconditionally. The gift of holding someone’s heart is a monumental responsibility with the potential for very grave and detrimental consequences. It is not a decision to be taken lightly, but Arielle trusts me enough to give it to me, and I will prove to her that I am worthy of her tribute. I need to show her what she means to me and how seriously I feel about her. I need her to know, without a doubt, that she too holds my heart, and together we are complete. I will protect her and devote myself to her happiness, because from this moment forward, my life and future is no longer I or me- only us.
I run my hand over her soft hair and inhale her. I brush my thumb behind her ear and move it down her cheek, across her jaw, and to her chin. I gently pull away, leaving her chin resting in my hand, and lower my head so that my eyes are level with hers.

I look into her uncertain, yet trusting eyes.

“Let’s wrap the moon around us and feel what it is for me to worship you.” Excerpt
Excerpt 2:
“What are you afraid of?” he asks, still kissing me lightly.
“I'm afraid that if I take the leap, you will watch me fall and then tell me how stupid I was for leaping in the first place. Against all of my rationale and efforts otherwise, I have fallen for you. You have my heart, which means you control it. My poor heart is just pieced together with duct tape around it. I'm afraid if I allow you to keep it that when you return it, because I am certain you will, it will be beyond repair.”

I turn my body into his and worry he’s going to tell me I’m right.

He looks down at me, water rolling off the ends of his hair. “If you give me your heart, I will gently remove the duct tape as you let go of your fears and painstakingly sew it together piece by piece, stitch by stitch. I will fill any gaps or missing pieces with my love and ensure that it will be nothing but whole and delicate and beautiful ever again, just like you. I believe in you. I believe in us. If you'll let me, I will show you how far a little faith can take you.”

His words make my legs feel as if they could just melt into the ground, my heart race, my stomach drop, and send electrical pulses coursing throughout my appendages. I’m not sure that I am what he needs or if I am even right for him, but I do know he is what I need. I need him like I need air in my lungs and blood in my veins. The same sense of urgency I felt the first time I told him to kiss me returns, but this time, I need more than just his kisses. I need all of him.

I kiss his mouth and whisper in his ear, “When we get back, we’re going to shower, and then you’re going to make love to me like you never made love to anyone before. But first, we have to get there.”

I feel his excitement through his shorts and his breathing deepens.

“And McCrary…”
He takes a deep swallow and whispers out, “Yes?”
I brush my lips against his earlobe and feel the hair on the back of his neck stand up. “Tag! “You’re it!” I take off running.

From behind me, I hear him yell, “You’re evil!”
